Mike Warner, Chief Executive Officer
Mike M. Warner is the Chief Executive Officer of Selex ES Inc. As CEO, Mr Warner is responsible for all strategic, operational and performance matters pertaining to the business. Prior to his appointment as CEO, in 2014, Mr Warner was Chief Executive Officer of SELEX Systems Integration Inc, from 2005 to 2013, and also served previously as Chief Operating Officer, and Vice President of Business Development, where he oversaw successful expansion into international and US aviation markets.
Mr Warner brings to his current role more than two decades of experience in the aerospace/defense industry, including tenures with Hughes Aircraft Company (now a part of Raytheon Corporation) and Harris Corporation. At Hughes Aircraft Company, Mr Warner served as Director, Business Development with the Air Traffic Control Systems Division (ATCSD), a wholly owned subsidiary based in Canada. Mr. Warner also held progressively senior positions with the Hughes Command and Control Systems Division (CCSD) of the Ground Systems Group in Fullerton, California. His responsibilities extended to a variety of functional areas including program management, contract management and marketing of the Company's Air Defense Ground Environment (ADGE), C3I and ATC programs. At Harris Corporation, Mr Warner served as Director of Business Development with the Air Traffic Control Systems Division (ATCSD) of the Electronic Systems Sector in Melbourne, Florida. In this role, he was oversaw business development, marketing, sales and proposal management.
Mr Warner holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Claremont College. He served in the U.S. Navy where he maintained the electrical/electronic systems of McDonnell Douglas F-4 fighter aircraft. While detached to the VF-111 squadron, he completed 2 western pacific deployments aboard the USS Coral Sea. Mr Warner received his honorable discharge in 1976.
